Subject: [u21] for sale

I'd be interested in Reece but 6M euro is far too steep for me. Would fit into my training plans very well.

why does being in the NT or U21 team add value?

i thought it would be opposite would mean they have more chance or injury

the honour ;)

and i presume in the hope that one day they will get a wage reduction or something.

well, there are some small advantages on having an NT player :)
- some extra free training
- some extra spectators at your home match the day after if your player played for the NT (though I never have seen any proof of this, and probably it is impossible to prove)

I'm interested in Reece Wilkinson too but wouldn't pay more than around £3m for him tops. Will keep watching though to see if he's ever transfer listed.

Graeham Main popped (probably random i hope) in defence.
Reece Wilkinson has been trained in stamina with a +1 there.
Ritchie Gordon has had 2 random pops so unsure what his training is - pops were pace and defence

wilkinson's price dropped to 5.25M euro today (got it on sk mail)
still too much i think :)

Very tempting though as he's one of our better prospects,if he lists him at that I'd probably bid.

i think the idea is mate you make a gentlemans agreement on how much. This allows the seller to list at 1 to avoid the taxes.

edited to say reece and ritchie have had their transfer topics removed. Probably for the owners to try to go and exploit someone else.

Tyler Skelton

right now he sits in the top 5 - however his pace, tech and passing would be required for next seasons WC. A defo possibility but i would advise on asking for proof of talent before going there. I have asked for price wanted so will get back soon

he is one of our top 5 strikers?

his tech and pace are no where near good enough for the under 19s let alone the u21s IMHO

if he is in the top 5 have we got enough scottish striker trainers?

i prefer to train defenders but if thats the best coming through i could be persuaded to change to strikers
2009-01-16 19:05:21
of what i have so far yes he is in the top 5 of our 20 yr olds.

ok reece wilkinson will be accepted now at 3.5m.

I have contacted all the owners stating that they shall not feature in the U21s as long as they are not getting trained so hopefully we can get the others sold as well.

he is now on the TL for 1k. apparent 3 week talent

Yeah mate,I know what the seller's doing but I can't be bothered with all that nonsense.I always list at £1 & get the fair price at the time or else take the risk and pay the 4% to list at the price I want.

Like I say,if he's transfer listed I'll likely bid atound £3.5m for him but I'm not going to get involved in cloak & dagger messages with the lad looking to sell.
