Subject: update

Right, well not sure how many of you will remember back when i was even a semi active member of sokker, but after a while away I have decided to pay attention again and try to put my team back together. So my question is, what have I missed in the last year and a half/two years? i.e tactical advances and the like. Cheers for any help you can give.

the biggest change is that PM is now a lot more important regarding the players ability to think.

I think thats about it

Players do choose to dribble more often, and not always straight towards goal.

Sometimes more pass and wait for a better pass.

Defenders will got further out of position to chase a player than before if they are the closest defender.

ah thats right. AND they now decide to pass the ball backwards as well.

and its become harder to score from 1-on-1's but easier to score on long range shots.

Also, players block the ball more than they used to.

Preferably over 50 to 80 metres, when they are right in front of the opponents goal...
