so where do we start?

we could do with some help, who knows who? i know Langhe likes hanging around the Scottish forums

Early thoughts

1) Saccrafice a weeks training for a form boost?

2) I was thinking better way would be to use the already in place ranking system. Which your ranking goes up and down based on results and opposition etc. Form could be influenced in the same way? Presumably less programing as it can be linked to an existing feature, programmers like easy fixes...

3) Or link it into player rating system. Player plays well, high rating, more chance of increased form next game.

4) Always could be a small bit of random, but general trend should follow some influential guidlines. maybe need some forfeits like signing a new player always starts on lowish form.

5) Own youth players, generally hold their form better at your club, encouraging your own youth developement.

We start here, them get a dossier together, take it to suggestions forum or direct to greg.

Dont know if this is helpful or not, even if it's true or not but...

I've read that the form formula is so complex that even Greg himself doesn't truly know how it works.

Quite sure that langhe or any other staff member would have heard this too or heard some snippets somewhere along the line.

its true and quite stupid really.

as in other thread.

a) make it a training option
b) make it a training percentage which sacrifices a percentage of primary training each week.

i would go with

1. Training option
2. If in a NT team form would be greater
and dandys idea of

"5) Own youth players, generally hold their form better at your club, encouraging your own youth developement. "

you know this might have credance

my striker keeps losing form when i play him as a striker
and increases form when i play him as a forward

and my new mid (only had him a couple of games) lost form when on wing gained form when in centre and lost it again on wing

going to try putting them both in the postion they gained form on in past and see how they do
