Subject: Dream Team

it does in sokker... but in dream team it has always ignore those players coming on/going off as a sub.

not sure about red cards... can't remember.
2009-05-07 18:40:37
will do
2009-05-07 18:43:38
ok. for injuries/subs take my match with Dandy in round 14 last season as an example.

I injured Scottish star Marc Craig after26 minutes and he went off.

In Dream Team, if you go to the scottish prem info, you do see Marc Craig under the player marks of the Tartan Terrors in the match analysis (click th "+" next to the name Tartan Terrors).

However, dispite getting a rating of 80% and easily making the grade, Marc does not appear in the list of the Scottish Dream Team Mids nor on the Scotland National Dream Team.

for red cards, take my match in week 10 against YoYo as an example.
My lad Keith McBride got a red card and a rating of 62%. this shoud be enough for the Scottish Prem Dream Team as a defender, but he's not on the list.

I don't know, maybe muhkLionu has put in a filter to deliberately exclude these players as they could unfairly get inflated ratings.

on looking at that do you think thats wrong?

p.s. added the <age group for u21s
2009-05-07 19:40:41
it is alright for ratings, but if you want to extract all top scots in the game (even those that played part of a game) you might be able to use the knowledge that there is a filter (if there is 1) to program a non-filtered version to extract all scots for our purpose.

yip i have been adding in countries and teams that were ticking. I cant believe some of the errors in this. The simple apostrophe was creating chaos when adding countries, leagues.teams and players. Maybe just maybe we will have a load more players and teams.

Ok now onto the sneaky one which you are referring to.
2009-05-07 20:32:10
the game against yoyo last season week 10 you refer to. This is the player stats of the player that got sent off.

<playerStats>
<playerID>840509</playerID>
<number>4</number>
<formation>1</formation>
<timeIn>0</timeIn>
<timeOut>23</timeOut>
<yellowCards>0</yellowCards>
<redCards>1</redCards>
<isInjured>0</isInjured>
<goals>0</goals>
<assists>0</assists>
<fouls>1</fouls>
<shoots>0</shoots>
<rating>62</rating>
<timePlaying>826</timePlaying>
<timeDefending>696</timeDefending>
</playerStats>

so it shows me the time he got sent off at. Interesting

folks i have added in the junior third division as a test for the dream team site. Im a bit concerned that it will no doubt screw with the stats as the games are going to be tied to the main team but i am looking to see what data we will get from these matches as it could be a way of identifying potentially good juniors early on in their career.
