thoughts to follow. Firstly i clearly didnt make it into the 15-31 group which was my aim and was hoping that 11-0 yesterday could have put me up a few places but alas it didnt happen.

edit - hang on i did get into that seeding - wtf?? i bet this draw was done before the rankings were updated.

edit - ok worked it out - there are only 15 groups instead of 16 (which we all presumed was going to be the case).

Austria - size 227
Suomi(Finland) size 620

Austria are very nearly similar to ourselves. A quick scan of their players shows a little bit more in their squad but i would say evenly matched. He managed a draw against Hungary who hammered us but that was way back at the start of my campaign. Defo plays a 5-3-2 when up against the better team which is fair enough (but in friendlies...pffft).

Finland - huge country in these types of games again. The big power house of our group. Any points from this team will be a bonus ;)

The rest in the group only moldova really are the strange ones in 5th seed. Need to keep a careful watch on them. Anyway we start our campaign against the new country on the block. THen we play moldova so it gives a chance to get some points on the board and hopefully some goals.

Pretty much agree with that summary, in short,qualification will be tough but doable :)

Austria have kicked out their old coach - wow poor person jut got to play friendlies then gets kicked...thats harsh.
