hi lads , i remember we talked about form in another topic and that playing a player in the " wrong " position might have an effect on form

thing is , my keeper ( below ) has always had great form in the whole time ive had him , but recently with all the random pops he has had , his form has plummeted and i cannot get it to improve at all . my question is , is it possible he no longer sees himself as a keeper ? sounds daft i know but its all i can think of to explain his shocking form and the fact it just wont budge

remember jim leighton played well most of his caraer apart from a short spell at the end of his man u caraer

Form in this game is one of the few things that makes no sense, I often have players who stay around tragic form for the whole time I have them, sometimes 3 season etc.

Other players stay in good form the whole time, and then plummet. I have yet to see it the other way around, people oftem mention a change of training causing this...I am not so sure, but its a big pain in the proverbials. lol

the 2 u21 keepers were garbage form all last season - now they are climbing steadily this season.

Thats handy, I just wish they would sort the problem out for players who always seem in such low form. Its really frustrating as the highest they seem to achieve is Good Form and then they plummet back to Tragic in no time at all. :/

My trainee strikers generally are in ok form but every now and then they plummet. Many people moot the change of training to get a change in form, I have yet to see a big change though.

i agree - i put on the test server about adding a new training option to influence form and i think i put it on the bugs/ideas in here - nothing!!

They seem a bit closed off with regards to these things, they seem more interested in other parts of the game most of the time. Form for me is a big issue though, why should a player be around tragic form forever? Even Louis Boa Moarte has the odd decent game......not many in a season, maybe one though.

Cant add to the form debate as like has been said, nobody really knows but i do think that you should look at it as a blessing in disguise.

A top 4 division one club should probably have a better keeper now anyway, so hopefully you'll sell and improve in that area. I think that you mentioned that you were switching to pace so it's probably a good time to bring in a younger guy anyway.

bought a 21yr old formidable recently and he will do just now , only thing is his passing isnt as good as id like , but i am switching to passing later in the season
