Mood: Your supporters are losing hope

Mood up one level after winning 6-0

Edit:
Lenzie are not ranked that far below us I would have hoped for more than one level after winning by 6 goals.

11 East Stirlingshire 3528.60
20 Lenzie 3234.56

my supporter mood has been at 0 for 6 weeks now. Who said getting a play off place was good for you.

My supporter level remains at "believe in the club". This season I lost a close match (2:1) to Polmont and 4:1 to Rangers-90, which are ranked #3. 12:0 wins in the cup or beating Hoops, which are ranked pretty high, did not increase the supporter mood either. Each week I am loosing about 1 or 2 supporters, depending on the sub-level,I guess. While this is not earth shattering, it's still quite frustrating that regardless what you do, you cannot please the supporters -- it has the bad taste of HT. Given that our league is so balanced and you will either win or loose most of your matches by a tight margin and rarely put together a long winning streak, I don't see any changes for the season. And I keep loosing money as sponsors pay less and less supporters show up at the gates.

that is my exact point over in test mate. I think greg has actually forgotten the financial impact this stupid code has added to the game.

he believes i should be losing supoprters no matter what i do as im in division 2. My point is that if i had to spend the money i had and start hammering teams it would only last for 4 weeks as i would then be bankrupt. Its like taking Newcastle and expecting them to retain every player and hammer teams in the championship even tho their income is halved. Bloody stupid.

10-0 isn't enough, geez.

So its looking like you have to risk a lot of your best players against the bots to keep your fans happy. And get an as yet unknown cricket score to create either a nothing or positive effect.

And we have an extra round next season after our expansion. And becuase a lot them didn't stay with have the likelyhood of more bot matches next season. Nightmare!

My fan mood was 7 at start of the season, just gone down another 2 levels with my FIRST loss of the season to level 3!

There is a possibility I could make the cup final with furious fans!

There was only one positive shift, went up a level when I beat Psychos & kinross Rangers. Otherwise Id be on level 2 now...

I wish I had a poor ranking, as I don't see where the advantage is with a high rank. Other than a favourable cup draw, but always away. Last season I tried bringing it down by loosing as much friendlies as I could.

The systems is totally unfair. Even most fellow real Aberdeen fans would be happy with my progress of still being in the Cup...

Im now considering selling my old first teamers, concentrate on training and going for 5th place in the league. To hopefull get and win a play off. Not sure if winning a play off to stay up creates a big increase in fan mood though.

Even loosing the play off wouldn't make the fan mood worse as its likely to be 0 by then anyway.

Basically if your a high rank team you have to win every game well or your fans with be unhappy, winning slightly and generally doing reasonably well really upsets them!

edit: another insanity is that my ranking has actually improved during the same period my fan mood has plummeted making the situation worse!? Doh.

so glad i dont have these problems atm
a lose in league did drop me too levels
but i have it back
but getting humpt in cup on wednessday followed by 6 defeats in league the supporters could
be on there knees by the time i get back to winable games

11 supporters bought subscription cards this week. 2009-06-01 06:05:40

My fans are still at level six despite heavy losses nearly every week. I have somehow managed to score at least one goal in all my league matches so far but I am not sure if that is making any difference.

Looks about right. My fans are furious, after two walkovers and a no show in the cup it's hardly surprising, but after beating league leaders 4-3 away from home they're still furious and another 19 supporters left the club.

Based purely on ranking is not an ideal model Greg!

he says it isnt based purely on ranking - its also based on "hidden" factors. Believe what you may
2009-06-02 21:27:46
Has anyone experienced surprising increases in supporter mood? Are we just a bunch of whiners? Or is it really almost impossible to increase your supporter mood if you are a team with a decent rank and play in a tough league: If you loose, no matter how close, fans are not happy; If you win, no matter how high, fans cannot be pleased either. For me, that's quite frustrating. Oh yeah, and hidden factors... that really sounds like HT.

Yep, surprising increase here.

After relegation i quickly got to fans being in love. I've also risen from 16 to 8 in the rankings and 11 supporters joined yesterday.

No idea what everyone is moaning about? :)

It'll be interesting to see what happens after i get hammered from St Johnstone in the cup on Wednesday.

I hope we are proved to be just whinging prematurely, otherwise its going to be a harsh financial lesson for a few of us.
2009-06-04 01:53:48
Ok, my fan mood is zero now. So thats a drop of 5 levels in 1 week, quite impressive.

Going to be interesting trying to recover from it. I have a bad feeling it might be really difficult or impossible to do it.
2009-06-04 02:30:31
ouch! Though i've guess you've pretty much just had your worst week of results in sokker ever (for both your club, and for the NT side).

I'm sure your fans will be back... string together 3 or wins on the trot and i think your fan mood should be back up to 4 or 5.
