2009-06-08 18:53:03
i got 16 new fans this week but i am at a low base of 1741 atm so should be ok for gaining fans for a bit

I am taking your case up with Greg now as I do not see how this is possible. The only feasible explanation is that you are sucking in your job as Promoter and this is punishment. ;)
2009-06-09 22:33:38
no, 1 word explains it all: 'Wodka'
2009-06-09 23:20:56
You mean, rtg drank too much Vodka and this is his punishment?
2009-06-10 09:20:05
no, Greg coded the supporters mood when he had a bit too much wodka :) So he doesnt understand how it works :)

Damn, back down a level to furious mood after a draw against similar ranked team in a friendly. Interesting.

LMAO over in international bugs it is stated that Friendlies do not count towards fan mood drops. nice to see the information being presented to us is correct.
2009-06-10 12:12:46
Yeah!

No information about how it is actually calculated. Ranking might be part of it. But there are 'hidden' factors.
2009-06-10 12:34:33
he has stated that ranking plays no part in it whatsoever.

I can now also confirm that friendlies have quite an impact on fan mood. My opponent forgot to set his team and played with his first team. I got hammered 14:0 against a team ranked below me (but also had two midfielders sent off, which was deadly), lost 90 points in my ranking (took me 3 weeks and 3 wins in my division to gather that many points) and 1 level in supporter mood (fans are now depressed). This happens after I won 3 league matches, drew against the #1 team in my division, and lost 2:1 the first match. In the cup I won 3 matches by a combined score of 31:0 and then lost 4:1 to the #2 ranked team in Scotland. This is really depressing!

Well, at least he is not alone :-) Some mates from Germany told me that they have won 3 or 4 league matches and tied the other one(s). Supporters are still murdorous...

Mood: Your supporters are depressed

We won 9-0 tonight and 7-1 in the mid-week friendly and it has not improved their mood.

Only 2 left this week but if winning 9 nil in the league has so little effect on their mood then there is something very wrong.

Yep there defo is something 'wrong' or 'unfair'.

Im up 1 level to the dizzy heights of loosing hope after an 8-0 win. No idea what the minimum I needed for an increase. But mood went down 2 levels after a 4-1 loss in the league.

Its not fun being pushed down the need to win very heavily road.

i had been down to supporter mood level 4 this time last week after only beating YoYo 3:1 and losing a league match to AFC NMYT.

However, i moved up 1 level after winning my Cup Semi-Finals 8:0 against Bruce City, and a further 1 level (up to 6 of 7 now) following the same score against the same oponent in the league match yesterday.
Hopefully i'll be back up to max supporter mood after wednesday :)
