anyone know how much i will get if i sell out my stadium?
just lost 57k this week dont think i get enough even with a sellout to cover that might have to sack a coach or let some older trainees go and bring in some younger ones
just as i thought things were going well
the fact i have back to back home games and a cup game this week might see me through for a couple of weeks

how much do you have in the bank?
I'm almost always losing money over 2 weeks, quite a bit of money infact. But the trick is to plan things so that you can keep on surviving. And when you do sell your trainees, you keep a little bit in reserve as a buffer.
I've just upgraded my stadium, so i may be actually able to make a profit now for the first time in ages.

i never make a profit over 2 weeks. Right now i loose between 200-250k per fortnight due to coaches. Like suttie says plan for this - i have 2.5m in the bank to buffer this loss and over the course of the season try to recoup the loss through youth sales or trainee sales.
im lucky , if i manage to sell out my stadium i can make a profit of about £10k over the 2 week home/away period
after 2 away games to start season its down to -£3000
mainly due to the fact that i have gotten nothing so far in the cup
as they havent devolped there stadiums
the next 3 games will give me a buffer and i have a YP with 2 weeks to go
so i might be on bread line but it might be survicalble without selling the family silver

this week i only had a cup game at home so got 50% of the gate
am i thinking then that the profit/loss i made for this week should be the average over a 2 week
where i get 100% gate one week and 0% the next (ok gates might fluctuate)
if it is then i should be ok as i still had room for more fans and made £300 this week
3 home games in the next 2 weeks should see me fine

Pretty much yes, don't forget the friendlies after the cup run as they can give you some much needed funds. By that I mean if you can play a team with a lot of supporters it can be 10k difference at least sometimes. ;)

Im the same dont worry though a good youth will easily get you a good profit, its worth it in the long run.

I* found last season that I had a run of bad weather in my league home matches, this lead to really small crowds for my 42k all seater stadium. Since then I have put roofs on 3 corners and this weekend got 36k for the match, plus my fans were not as happy as they were last season. A roof really does pay off from what I have seen.
If you put a roof on your stand of say 10000. Then say 3 seasons down the line you want to expand up to 20000. Does your roof get demolised and then you need to pay for a new roof or would you just pay for the seats?
Only for the seats. The roof magically floats in the air till the expansion with seats is done and then puts itself above them again. Sometimes you've got to love sokker logic :)
yeah i got much more for a sell out home game than i was expecting meaning i am making 20k over 2 week without friendlies

not quite.
Your existing roof for your existing seats remains in place. However, for each new seat built, an additional piece of roof must be built to cover it at a per seat rate.

That's possible. I just meant to say that you do no pay again for the already existing (part of) the roof.
That's what I know from other managers :)
