Subject: [u21] Hong Kong

Tonight we face Hong Kong in the next round of fixtures for world cup qualification. Im hoping to win obviously. Austria have just beaten Thailand 11-0 so they have increased their GD significantly. I have a few players on 2 yellow cards in defence especially so they are walking the tight rope of suspension.

lets hope for a decent performance from the boys and record another 3 points on the board. All eyes shall be on our forward line - 4 forwards shall be playing today who are all in pretty decent form so i shall be watching how they move and finish when given the chance.

and
finland won 5-0 against moldova so tonight is as always a must win

4-0 not exactly setting the heather on fire at the moment i must admit. That result puts us in 3rd position behing finland and austria. Not putting moldova out of it but the double header against austria is going to be the make or break 2 weeks for both teams.

We only won 5-0 against Bolivia so don't worry too much, a win is a win. The results against the teams around you will be the most important ones without a doubt. Holland look the class act in our group though.

This is much more fun this season though isn't it. Both our groups are very interesting, I thought Hungary would be more of a threat in ours but they will struggle to qualify now I think. In ours its Holland and one other imo. We did well to beat France so heavily but I figured they would lose to Hungary but managed to beat them so its wide open for 2nd still.

I am looking forward to the Holland double header weeks 8 & 9 will be very interesting I feel....for both of us. Having looked at your group its a pretty decent one for you, and really is a 3 horse race only.

yup it is - with your holland france game next week you really want holland to beat france which gives you a nice cushion.

Thats what I am hoping for, but I hoped for a draw between Hungary and France last night, I expected a Hungary win, so for France to win was a bit of a shock. lol

I lost to Finland twice last season with U21 and U20 so they are tough for you, I was trying different formations in the games to test....but they are certainly the hardest team in your group. You and Austria seem very evenly matched. You are doing well considering you only have 98 users though, that number shocked me if I am honest.

We are the 4th lowest in terms of users in our group too.....we can both do it though. I think to qualify we would have done a good job this season. Even if very few people seem bothered by the qualifications in England. :/
