Questions.
1. How has the cup run treated you so far?
2. How are your players feeling before the final?
3. What do you think of the opposition?
4. What's your prediction for the match?
5. What is going to be the pre match meal?
6. If you win where are your players going to celebrate their victory?
7. Where will you celebrate your victory?
8. I hear the groundmen have been told to widen the park for this game. How do you feel about that?
1. The cup has treated me 50/50 so far. It keeps giving me tough opponents then gives me a fair share of luck to progress. Hopefully it's a full package deal and it doesn't expire before the Final has ended.
2. Excited and most importantly well rested.I took a chance and rested my main midfielders from my league match and they are now fit and raring to go.
3.Probably the best team in Scotland with a manager who was at the helm before Fergie took over at Man Utd!
4. I'm expecting 2 full first teams and that means bad news for me.I see they won 8-0 last week against a stronger team than mine so i am hoping to keep them down to single figures. I also want to score at least 1 so 9-1 to St Johnstone. Again, i haven't told my players that.
5.I'm going to give the players spinach after watching the Popeye dvd on the team bus.
6. I'm not quite sure my player know how to celebrate. They are more used to crying after losing a relegation play off match.
7.I'm sure i will do a dance around my living room if we are lucky enough to win.Hopefully we will have no visitors just in case.
8. It's just a wicked rumour. The pitch will be cut to our specifications as i pay the groundsman. If it turns out to be wider then i can only assume that suttie has bribed the groundsman and we will be looking for a new groundsman as of 9am Thursday morning.
Suttie had this to say...
1. How has the cup run treated you so far?
It's been quite a topsy-turvy route to the finals. In round 2 I had the good fortune to play in Shankly`s Select's state of the art stadium, in front of over 50,000 cheering fans. Beats the typical 1 man and his dog kind of fare normally served up in the early rounds. Then strangely I had to see off a Premier League side in round 3, before defeating a Second Division bot team in round 4. But the lads have done very well to see off all challenges, to get us to where we are now.
2. How are your players feeling before the final?
The lads are all obviously excited. You could tell there was a definite buzz on the training pitch this morning, with many of the lads anxious to show that they deserve to have their name on the team sheet. None more so than young Evert Eben. He even got his mum to ship over a tonne of chocolates from home. He's obviously heard that I have a sweet tooth.
3. What do you think of the opposition?
To be honest I don't know too much about them. But just because they aren't playing in the Premier League doesn't mean they are going to be a walk in the park, just look at their giant killing exploits in the cup this season! I'm definitely not taking them for granted and my top scouts are on the job.
4. What's your prediction for the match?
We'll win it, but not without a tough fight. I'll go with a 4:1 win for the Saints.
5. What is going to be the pre match meal?
The lads have recently been going through a Sushi phase. We've flown in a top chef from Japan as a treat for the lads, though we'll be making sure our lads stay well clear of him and his sharp knives.
6. If you win where are your players going to celebrate their victory?
Well after a few dozen bottles of champagne on the open top bus parading through Perth, the pub is a good bet.
7. Where will you celebrate your victory?
I'm not really 1 for all the fan fare of the parade. I'll be sneaking out the back. Think I might celebrate by playing a round of golf at St Andrews with a couple of mates and a few sly beers.
8. I hear the groundsmen have been told to widen the park for this game. How do you feel about that?
Great! It probably the worst kept secret that the Saints heavily rely on our wide men. Give them a yard and they'll twist you about before knocking in that perfect cross for big Cipriani to nod home.

well done suttie. 6-1 was better than my prediction.
cheers!
As i expected your side put up a great fight. Kept things tight with the score at only 2:1 at half time.
In the second half my wingers went a bit wild. Guess the groundsmen widened the pitch after all ;)
