Subject: [u19] Bulgaria Vs Scotland

We have a break from the world cup qualifying by playing bulgaria in an under 19 competition. I always feels game like this are a time to try formations which may help in the next games of the world cup qualifiers. I will test a few things, with my aim to have the new tactic which shall be used in the main game against austria.

dunno mate i havent looked at the u19 game yet. Will probably do that either tomorrow or Monday.

just to let everyone know i have asked sebubu and stevie to pick the team for this friendly.

Sebubu is too busy at the moment so its down purely to stevie.

I actually think it's a good idea, getting as many people involved with the NT as possible can only be good for the future. Not enough Scots have stood for election recently imo, myself, dandy and yourself rtg have all won un-opposed. Seems like not many people are interested or think that they are not experienced enough which is a shame.

Just aswell you and dandy are doing a good job :)

thing is mr reekie , since you were a mentor for me on your head be it ! . i will get this done asap . will be nice to see what i can come up with to help out ;) . id never run for th NT job as i feel the guys who do it are far better and already doing a fantastic job

thats why i am doing things like this. My time will come to an end with the u21s at some point and i presonally would like to see a new person take over the team. It is a brilliant learning curve and gives you a new dimension to sokker.

Giving interested users a chance to pick the team will as Ally says hopefully get more people interested in running for the NT/U21.

its a good plan mate , but in an ideal world people like yourself , ally and dandy would be around forever and stay in control

ok tactic is set for tomorrows game. Pretty defensive routine 5-3-2 - lets face it a draw next week and we get a good gap between ourselves and austria so the tactics have been made with this game next week in mind.

Stevie has picked the team but i have asked him to have a final look after todays updates of form and skills.

Team shall be annouced and included in the squad tomorrow morning.

I was particulary impressed with Ritchie Gordon, one for the future i think.

yup ritchie was pretty good.

Thats 2 new managers picked the team and 2 wins.

For me - the tactic was exactly what i was looking for for next week against Austria. This is THE shutout and score on the break tactic that will see us either draw or sneak that 1-0 win.

On to next week - easy part tho, tactic is done, just got to pick the team :D


P.S. that game was done without Mark Harper who is a total star in goals as well for his age.
