Which would you train this player up to be?

Alasdair Thain, age: 20

poor stamina tragic keeper
very good pace excellent defender
good technique average playmaker
solid passing very good striker

I know he's getting on a bit in terms of being a long term prospect, but right now I train pace. He seems to pop every 3 or 4 weeks, so I'm hoping to get him to formidable in that by the start of next season. Originally I intended to go to technique after that, to train him as a striker and help another player that I have up front with that, but I have a few decent young defenders who could be sellable with some training as well.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I would suggest a quarterback... I think he is too fast to be a receiver...

I would train him as a def, because his secondaries are too good to be a striker (where you mostly do not need passing and playmaker at all and defender also rarely), but of course it is not bad to train tech, because defs also do need some tech.

I'd stick with your plans, i reckon he has the makings of a decent striker. That defence is a very nice plus to have.

Is that because he played defence tonight and you stuck 7 past me???

:-D

striker for me
if you do gor for defence he would be a wing back rather than cb but would need that pace upto incredible to be a good wing back

as striker his defense level is a great bonus
as defender, his striker level is totally useless

thus a striker for me :)
