and me.....lol

ooo i could crush a grape. the palms are sweaty, the butterflies are going mental in the stomach and im in desperate need for a beer or 20.

Im going to try to sneak off home soon but still will not be in on time for the game starting.

So....

Team - same tactics as Austria - 4-4-2 with a very high defensive line. Finlands forwards are quick but not that quick so will get caught off side loads of times. A typical high forward line with our forwards pace causing finland no end of trouble. I expect them to play their usual football down the middle and a hoof up the park so ive compensated for that by playing a very high midfield as well. Its press press press right from our half backwards. Trying something different with the corners as im flooding men forward to have 8 players in their box at the one time - surely with the sokker 50/50 header chance we will get some goals from this crazy but hopefully astute tactic.

Enjoy the match whoever watches. A draw were through, a loss and a win next week we are through no matter what the goal difference is (apparently).

Thank you for the game! MacRa was man of the match and made a few incredible saves. Even though we dominated, the game was still pretty tight and exciting. Let's hope that we'll win Austria next week!

you deserved the win mate as i said on your forum best team won - if we managed to sneak a draw it would have been an injustice. well done

I'm pissed off rtg. Never sending updates again.

no probs mate i will just play him for 90 minutes next week. You have to understand the importance of this game for me - draw no need for Pat again. tbh no need for pat again but since i need goals then i may just use him.

Wow, really encouraging for the trainers of Scottish talents.

Way to go, really.

I am confused, why are you upset? Your guy is slightly injured and may have got a bad injury if played...... :/

I asked rtg to give my player some rest and not field him since he was slightly injured and I really need him for my competition matches. But rtg did let him play.

Honestly I do understand rtg. And I had the same situation with Tambour during the WC. I played him with 1 day injury (which is hardly notable on the field) as he is by far the best striker. Same goes for Mc Eichan. For belgium, a loss was equal to be out of the wc. For scotland, taking 1 point would have qualified them. So more or less the same situation.
The first thing in the mind of an NT coach is the results of his NT, especially in very important games. Besides, its the fate of great strikers to be in the (U21) NT. If you dont want that, buy POlish players ...
