Honestly I do understand rtg. And I had the same situation with Tambour during the WC. I played him with 1 day injury (which is hardly notable on the field) as he is by far the best striker. Same goes for Mc Eichan. For belgium, a loss was equal to be out of the wc. For scotland, taking 1 point would have qualified them. So more or less the same situation.
The first thing in the mind of an NT coach is the results of his NT, especially in very important games. Besides, its the fate of great strikers to be in the (U21) NT. If you dont want that, buy POlish players ...

well said langhe.

@Klaars - your player is the best striker scotland have - i played him for 20 minutes of a make or break game for scotland - thats it he is now finished with the u21s - i wont play him next week now, though i could, i wont as i know you have important games. As i said in the mail i intended to play him for a little while as i really had to. He didnt get injured so we got away with it - no need to be upset.

I see what you mean now, but being England U21 manager I also played a slightly injured striker yesterday, why???

England are both small user countries and due to this we have a really small amount of players to choose from, I would have played your player too if in the same position. Besides if it was a small injury then it would not be a big risk and he gets that extra bit of training too.

I am sure rtg would agree with me that he'd love to have the set of players available to him in a country like Belguim. ;)

I'd play him next week anyway if hes your best player, or at least half tyhe game as you need to ensure 2nd mate.

i can bring in clarke and lennox mate so he is no big loss. I didnt play him for most of the campaign to keep the manager happy - but hey you cant please them all the time.

I had the same thing with one of my mids, I played him the whole campaign though as we had little else to play with. He did not get injured once the whole campaign, so the user should have been grateful for the extra training in the end. Oddly you appear to have more options than us at the moment, especially in the forward positions. It suprises me as you have quite a few hundred less users than us too....

were forward rich the now mate - i have 5 i could choose from - however next season there is Colson,,,,,erm,,,,,Colson,,,,,erm Colson and thats it. The whole team (apart from colson) is about 5 levels short of what i have right now.

LOL at least you have Colson, we have ......, then theres ####, then *****. Oh and I can't wait for ¬¬¬¬. I am seriously worried about next season in the finals, especially forward wise. I have tried to guide users on what to train their players (in a nice way) but not had much luck so we are lacking in areas badly.
