@lipa - As I said to you on skmail I 100% ok about loosing this election and or standing aside to let a suitable candidate take over. A candidate that the Scottish communicate were happy with. That's been very difficult for non Scot who appears only at election time. Were not against non Scots, but they need to get involved in the community. Being good at sokker is fine but there are 1000s of good sokker players.

I'm not against 5 at the back. Example 8031694

There are other examples, especially if you go into my previous reign, but we were weaker then so made more sense more often.

Against the bigger teams you are nearly forced to go 5 at the back, everyone knows this. It doesn't guarantee a good defence as you can still leave gaps. You still have to get the placement right.

I prefer to put our strongest team out, we don't have many defenders who can play ball. So 5 at the back immediately restricts us as an attacking force, more so than if you had 3 or 4 who could also pass effectively.

I accept that 4 at the back makes defending throw ins more difficult, I agree that against the Swiz we were exposed down the wings too much, however overall defensive was ok for a 0-0. The forwards failed. I believe they had stronger forwards than us, ours are slightly better this season, that has been a problem at the highest level for us, for ever really. We are edging closer to some world class strikers. That will help immensely.

I know it's my the biggest fault, that I appeared here just when election has started..

I know is diffucult to non Scots, but I think it would be best for me, and for you. Scots could see something other than your way to play. :)


I don't critic playing 5 def when it's neccessary. But.. As I said, it depends on opponent's tactic and his level. :>

Also me as a coach (if I am chosen) and you as a Scots (your NT will improve and win). ;] So, conclusion is only one... Believe my experience and good will, VOTE for me. :>

sorry mate now in all seriousness. As Dandy and Reekie has said. A non Scot realistically stands no chance of winning these elections if they havent already been on the forums in the past and recent past.

For example i would possibly vote for Langhe (sssshhh dont tell him) this has nothing to do with whether he has experience of NT but because he is in these forums sharing a joke and a laugh with us here scots.

We have always been a close nit community (small country and that) and obviously have had our serious issues with foreign managers - need i mention Mr Vogts to anyone? Nope didnt think so.

So if your serious hang about for a season or two then maybe just maybe you will get a few votes and potentially win the elections.

Coin on the other side - imagine the laugh if i applied for the polish u21 side. ive only been on the forums there to tell them about the dream team site. Thats it - i would get laughed out the forums.
