The Hoops performed pretty shabby last season, mainly due to not creating decent tactics and training.

I expected my attendances to be lower than normal, but given my fans are pretty happy etc, i cant believe i only got 17k in tonight against Berti's. Is the credit crunch hitting Sokker?

Another couple of weeks of this and i will be bankrupt for sure

Very strange mate

i got a sell out of 27100 tonight , but im currently rebuilding to 35000 capacity

what was the weather in your region , maybe that affected attendance ?
2009-08-30 21:46:21
i fcked up and my expansions dropped my attendace to 6200

not good

Steve was right. The weather done you...

Weather: heavy clouds
heavy shower
2009-08-30 21:51:17
maybe

i used to get pretty much full houses regardless of the weather, i'll be hoping its dry in future

fan mood is a massive factor too IMO... i which is a killer because not only do you lose out on sponsor income, its affects attendances too!

i had a full house at the weekend. When in div 1 it was pretty much a full house every week as well. The benefits of all covered stadium

you reckon its worth it..?
im considering investing in a roof over one stand pretty soon.. but its a 1mill cost which just seems rediculously high, plus expansion, you can expand a roof similar to seats etc.. you dont have to rebuild it right?
2009-09-03 13:08:31
im sure the roof magically floats in the air while its being rebuilt
2009-09-03 13:27:27
so you only have to pay for the extension, rather than an entire new roof :P
2009-09-03 14:56:27
RTG is right, Fairy Dust is sprinkled on the roof and it floats for as many days as is required for the expansion to be done, it then slots down on top. Hope that helps. :)
2009-09-05 10:17:09
am looking forward to wasting my money on that so :P
2009-09-05 10:43:03
when you have a roof and expand, you'll have to add new bits of roof over the newly expanded seats
2009-09-05 10:44:46
I still like my fairy dust explanation. ;)

You are right though additional roof will be built at the same time when he expands. :)
2009-09-05 11:41:44
and as usual that adds a lot of time, as roofs are expensive :/
base 5 days, plus an extra day for very 100k being spent...

thats grand though, thats what i wanted to know, had a friend who built a roof, then buit a crapload of seats and didnt tick roof, so had to pay for its deconstruction, so i wasnt sure if you had to do that everytime, asi dont have a roof to test it on myself at the moment :P

been considering building it over one section, in the hopes fans just go to there when theres rain..

even greg doesnt have an all round roof which makes me think fans will go to the one stand that has a roof if space is available for friendlies which would be handy - every little helps!

I noticed a big increase in attendance just from the small amount of roofs I have, check out my stadium. I sold out this weekend. :)
