Subject: [u21] Italy

Tonight at 8:29 our time we take on the mighty azzuri in the last 16 of the world cup. Italy are number 1 ranked in the world and looking at their players its easy to see why. We are up against it but the players are ready. We have various injuries in the team and our midfield is dessimated down to having to play 19yr olds in the middle. We are clearly massive underdogs here and will do well to keep the score line down.

Tactics are nearly set - just pin pointing some holes in Mr Newtons tactics, team is virtually picked just trying to decide on subs and when to use them.

Tune in and see if our fate in the world cup finishes at the hands of the favourites.

just sorting the team and Phil ogivlie hits the injury list as well. Wow i dont think i have had this many injuries in one team for one game. I suppose i cant complain as if the game was last week like it should have been then Colson would have been out.

Anyway team now set.

LOL I smell something fishy as I had 5 players missing from our Italy group game too.......and I wouldn't even say they needed a weakened England team to win the match.

Hard luck mate, really hard to even try and counter the difference in quality of players. Having a 68 monster up front of course helps but he had very little to support him.

i played with second team in our match,infact there wasn't great different about votes ;)

I know you played your 2nd team and that was what scared me. lol

The strength in depth you have as a larger country is really something that the likes of England and Scotland especially cannot match. ;)
