Today is the big day. 256 teams have been wittled down to just 2.

Tartan Terrors vs St Johnstone is the match everyone is talking about.

64,000 screaming fans will be making their way to the Tartan Terrors Arena to witness the next chapter in the epic struggle for dominance between the 2 titans of scottish football.

Just who will prevail?

Tartan Terrors
The Terrors are struggling up front, and might even have to play without a recognised striker.

Just last month they had an abundance of striking options. But since then they have sold Piotr Radwan, and last Sundays league victory over Tynecastle FC came at a heavy price. Witold Manuszewski picked up an injury and Hermelindo Negreiro was given his 3rd yellow. Both will be missing the Finals.
The Terrors will have to come up with a killer tactic (or play out for a draw and penalties) if they are to claim the title this year.

St Johnstone
The Saints will be fielding a near full strength side for the cup, having taken a risk and played the reserves in the League on Sunday.
The side will be even more dangerous this time around with the arrival of Scottish winger Brent Buchanan, though the lad is still recovering from an injury and is not quite at the peak of his powers.

With The Terrors problems up front, i can't see anything other than a Saints win.

My Prediction: Tartan Terrors 1:3 St Johnstone

A bit of an anti-climax that. Ah well, at least I got a shiny new trophey to add to the collection. :)

And I completed my run of clean sheets in every cup match this season

With no strikers, I did attempt to sign 1 or 2 but it wasn't worth breaking the bank to increase my no chance to slim chance.

So, not for the first time. The cup final was only a training match. I did pay a heavy price though. 3 drops on the old Supporter mood. I was expecting 2.

Apologies for the non event. But it was always going to be after I lost both strikers on Sunday.
