He could make a fine defender in the future.
Head towards divine pace and defending. Also passing up to solid as a minimum.

i will be training pace and passing at some point but i need to get all my def up to at least unearthly before i change
I would train him to Unearthly + defending and then switch topace before he hits divine? That way you can get the last pop through randoms and train his pace while hes still young enough, another nice defender though you have there.
you really think his passing should be at least solid? Imo more PM is a better option (but yeah, I dont believe in passing for -central- defenders) :p
I do believe. Obviously playmaking is more important. So solid passing with outstanding playing is better than the other way. But any skills less than solid for an NT team is pretty bad, and unlikely to get into the team. For club team, yeah, compromises have to be made, sometimes.
A Scotsman who wants Central Defenders to pass aswell, who'd have thought it.
