When I bought my keeper Sherry. I think he was 24, Divine keeper with magical pace and good or solid passing. He cost me £4.3M. Prices are probably less now for keepers (I know they are for all other positions), but Ive never bought a 1st team keeper since. Id say its an ok price.

Come to think of it, Sherry will need replacing soon. The demand and supply rules for keeper are different to other players, usually more demand than supply. Which keeps there prices higher than if the skills were the same level but in different position.

edit: Reekie beat me too it. That 20 goals has made diessel realise a quality keeper is worthwhile investment if you can afford it.

I'd like to know if it is a Bargin or was i Robbed? I feel like i was robbed a bit as i got in a bidding war and the price went up another 800k... and some managers are trying to sell worse 29 yr olds to me for about 4.25M, but then other managers are asking for 6M for their uber strikers...

wowzer. No doubting thats a player suttie but realistically paying £5.3m for a 30yr old? At the rate of plops just now he will be an +average player in 1.5-3 seasons. so in looking at it that way 5.3m for max 3-4 season - robbed.

I like the player but i a, going to sell all players when they reach 28 in order o get new blood into my team.

Probably slightly robbed but only because of who he is. Adamovic was the first non Polish triple divine striker and has a cult following who were probably all trying to outbid you :)

I also remember him being a thorn in the side in one of Scotland's qualifying campaigns, possibly my first one.

ah well... He'll be good enough for the next 3 seasons. After which, having won the Champions Cup back-to-back i think i might be ready to retire ;)

i'd normally say don't accept it, but with the current economy i have no idea what players are worth any more.

I've seen more money spent on similar players even recently and a lot less.

Form and how close it is to match day influence the price a lot.
