Unfortunately I don't have any back up strikers who weren't playing in my midfield that game so it was play my two usual or put on a all-round tragic I've got. I had a couple of suspensions aswell. More annoyingly, when my striker got injured one of my midfielders came on to replace him so now I think he's lost his training for this week.

Is that right? If a player has played on sunday in the position you're training and then comes on as a sub in a position you're not training then the player doesn't receive any of the training that he would have done if he hadn't of come on as a sub?

Correct on your training question.

Only the players last match counts for training unless both matches he played the same position then both matches count.

Yeah as Reekie said, gotta watch that for players your training, if in doubt don't bench them, certainly not in a different position that your training. If you lack players for the bench buy a 'space filler' Ive had plenty of them in my squad, still have the odd one or two. Good for this bench scenario and for friendly matches when you don't want to field a first team player.

@barmy army - stange match, happy overall. My team played ruthlessly at times, then at some times just passed the ball around like it was a kick about.

Good to see some action in this thread, 1 or 2 different posters from the usual, thats good. We want more of that!

if it wisnae fur yer wellies....
2010-04-22 10:43:18
You pushed me into this...

If it wisnae fur yer wellys where wid ye be
you'd be in the hospital or infirmary
cause you'd have a dose ae the flu or even plurisee
if ye didnae have your feet in your wellys.

Ch
Wellys they are wonderful
wellys they are swell cause they keep out the water
and they keep in the smell.
and when yur sittin' in a room
you can always tell when some bu&&er takes aff his wellys.

Ch.

Or when your out walkin' in the country wae a bird
and your strollin' over fields just like a farmers herd
and somebody shouts keep aff the grass
and you think how obsurd
and squelch you find why farmers all wear wellys

Ch.

There's fishermen and firemen there's farmers an all
men out diggin' ditches and workin' in the snow
this country it wid grind to a halt and no a thing wid grow
if it wisnae fur the workers in their wellys.

Ch.

Now Gordie Broon and Darlin'
they hivnae made a hit
they are ruinin' this country
mare than just a bit
if they keep on the way their goin'
we'll all be in the sh!t
so you better git your feet in your wellys.

Ch
If it wisnae fur yer wellys where wid ye be
you'd be in the hospital or infirmary
cause you'd have a dose ae the flu or even plurisee
if ye didnae have your feet in your wellys.

I preferred Ivan the terrible myself...

"Then I saw it right in front of me, this great big huge Willie!

So ah sunk ma teeth straight intae it, and you know something, it's amazing the surge of strength you get when you bite yer ain willie."

The oldies are the best :)
I see that he's re-invented himself these days.
