Its ok i have a home game tomorrow and will be ok.I will have to sell though as i lose 80k every second week.Only cut even every home game.
2010-05-15 22:25:40
ok mikey no probs :)

How would shutting your YS help you? I've used it as an option till my financial situation improves.

I love the system and its the only real way of getting a great youth as i cant afford to buy one.Its a dilemna.
2010-05-17 09:28:42
i'd keep your youths... get 1 lad in who you can sell for 2m quid and your youth system is paying for itself for several seasons with profit.

I've got a similar problem as you have. I'm losing about 80,000 every 2 week cycle (home + away league matches), and thats with sell-out home games, which hasn't really been happening.

But if i look at other sources of income (extended cup runs, cup prize money, champions league fixtures, friendly matches with attendance of 10,000+, dodgy youth pulls) i should about break even over the course of a season without having to sell players.
Then i will re-invest the money from trainees and selling those decent youth pulls back into the team to make it stronger.

basically, you need to make sure your side is sustainable in the long run looking at all sorts of income, not just your typical 2 week cycle, and then you also need to ensure that your side can continue to grow.

yup - i have had to sack another coach so thats me down to 1 assistant. I may end up having to punt him and go back to 3 formidable assistants but of course i need money to do that and currently i am negative 98k with an away game next week. Oh the joys!

It depends what you are able to acheve over two weeks. I break even over two weeks normally, if fans are happy though I can make a profit.
2010-05-17 22:51:28
Wow that aint possible for me,i lose 80k every second week and 11k the other week in between. Its a struggle.
