still not had a home league, cup or champions cup match yet.

But i think you really need to make a judgement call for each match based on:

1) Your Opponents Rating and Supporter mood
2) Your rating and Supporter mood
3) The weather for that day
4) The size of your stadium

You need to judge whether you'd:

i) typically sell out that match (in which case you can be quite agressive in increasing the prices), or

ii) typically have a large number of seats vacant (in this case you can really play around. try increasing the prices slightly to squeeze the most out those coming and hope you don't take much of a hit, or you could try lowering prices slightly and hope that it will help to sell out your stadium).

For me, i'm only going to get really agressive on increasing prices in my home matches against Dandy and in the Champions Cup (if i'm still around and ever get a home match).

agreed on all bar one point.

point 3 - you dont need to worry about that if you have a nice shiney roof like mine :D

be interesting trying to tinker about with the prices to see what you can get at the maximum . i have 23000 under roof and 12000 uncovered - im gonna try charging an extra few quid for my next home game just to see what happens
2010-08-10 17:15:14
I charged too much and was punished.20 quid everywhere was too much for my giro cashing supporters.
2010-08-10 21:57:00
I'm gonna go to 7 and 8 quid for the next game, if it doesn't work I'll go back to what I had at the weekend

Ok, i've had a home junior cup match and have done some analysis:

I have my stadium like this (presuming the pitch runs west to east, i.e. left to right on the 2D configurable layout):

North West Corner . . . . . . . . . North . . . . . . . . . . . . . . North East Corner
Covered Seats . . . . . . . . Covered Seats . . . . . . . . . . . Covered Seats
Ticket 4.75 £ . . . . . . . . . . Ticket 6.50 £ . . . . . . . . . . . . Ticket 4.75 £
57 ppl . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 110 ppl . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 68 ppl

West end . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . East End
Roofless Benches . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Roofless Benches
Ticket 4.75 £ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Ticket 4.25 £
342 ppl . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 369 ppl

South West Corner . . . . . . . . . South . . . . . . . . . . . . . South East Corner
Covered Seats . . . . . . . . Covered Seats . . . . . . . . . . . Covered Seats
Ticket 4.75 £ . . . . . . . . . . Ticket 5.50 £ . . . . . . . . . . . . Ticket 4.75 £
55 ppl . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 120 ppl . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 64 ppl

Weather: partly cloudy, drizzle

Interesting things to note.

i) ok, so what makes no sense what-so-ever is that 342 fans sat on roofless benches in the rain when there were perfectly good covered seats for the exact same price!
The only thing i can think of is that fans don't like corner stands...

ii) 27 more fans went to the roofless bench stand which was 50p cheaper than an otherwise similar stand (~8% more fans)

iii) 10 more fans went to the stand along the line which was £1 cheaper (~9% more fans)

iv) In both ii) and iii), the stand which was more expensive made more money, despite having less fans.

v) My 4 corner stands were exactly the same in terms of size, ticket price, seat type and roof.
The number of fans in each stand ranged from 55 - 68. Thus random plays a huge factor, stand on stand.

Dont understand this set my prices at a 5 for everywhere and the benches sold out and the seats didnt, only thing i can presume is they like being along side the pitch rather than being behind the goals.
