Subject: Ticket prices
Couple of questions.
1) Do I need to set ticket price for a friendly?
2) I have my tickets selling at about £2 to £4 and never get a full house. The only tickets that sell well are the £3.75 benches, while the nice comfy seats at £2 are only 1/2 to 2/3 full. I take it I'm doing it wrong?

no you are doing it right. This has been an issue which greg refuses to believe is wrong. Why benches at a higher cost will sell out more than comfy seats which are cheaper is beyond me. For me the seating is still using the old formula and has nothing to do with ticket prices
Tx, I thought that was odd.
It still concerns me that I'm practically giving tickets away for free and not selling out, esp. when I see other guys selling for £7 or £8. Is this because my ranking sucks?

afraid so mate yes. In the cup games when you are playing the bigger teams whack those prices up to 7 or 8 quid and you will still sell out.
My supporters are "madly in love", and have been all season and most of last.
There's not much wrong with your support. You are getting bigger attendances than some premier teams myself included.
Supporter club size and fan mood of your league rivals also has an impact.
I'd also put your prices up, even by just a couple of £ as your fans are madly in love they will be happy to pay a couple of quid more.

When I said mood I really meant size and mood. And what Reekie says the opponent you play aswell.
Id charge more than you are aswell.

I have my benches at £5 and sell them all out in the second division.. so definitely put them up. That said, another team in my league tried setting higher (I think £8) and hardly sold any, so take care.. you'll soon find the level they'll accept generally and you can whack another pound on for top opposition in the cup for instance.
Yay!
I bumped up the prices and get a full-house. Cool.

im making mine 40 quid all over and we will see what happens.
dammit missed opportunity from me - full house - could have raised the prices :(
