After the luck we had in the USA game i fully expect it to be back to the normal and obvious whipping.
The Cheqs have started very well by hammering the group favourites Holland 4-1. My main aim will be to try and shut out the Cheqs as much as possible. A draw here would be decent for our team.
A few key injuries one of which is to our best winger in Buchanan. He is sitting on an 8 day injury but means that he will only be 2-3 day injury by the time the game comes which is good enough for me.
We have 2 players suspended from the brawl of the USA game, both from our midfield. This hurts us badly in this department and we shall really struggle to put out any decent midfielders. Looks like the "punt it up the park and miss out midfield may come into play".
Stay tuned for what will no doubt be another game with injuries, yellows and red cards galore.
Come on the Scots!!

To be honest, it was always going to be a tough group but now that we have beaten the USA who, I am sure you realise are ranked 6 places higher than the Czech's, it was probably more before last weeks match.
Point being, if last weeks tactic worked against a higher ranked team then why not go for it again, assuming that we have the players to cover the suspensions and a winger to cover Buchanan who wont be so effective this week due to his slight injury.
Good Luck

very true Ally, however on Buchanans point he will be at max 2 day slight injury. He could waltz past any defender in the whole of sokker even with a 7 day injury on him so for me he's in. However i may be persuaded otherwise but i very much doubt it - he tore the USA to pieces and i can only hope the slight injury will not hamper him too much
what you dont wish us luck anymore? tsk tsk - remember Mods can read deleted messages ;)
