Holland NT i guess is the favourite of this group, but if ironside will make a greater tactical effort he will have a nice chance of stealing some points from them, or even get a win.

South Africa - not the best team from pot 3, but still can make some problems , albeit the final result i see as positive for Scotland.

Against teams placed 4-6 Scotland is a pure favourite so easy matches, except Albania will resist first 30-45 minutes.

In overall the group is quite easy, thus means ironside will have enough time this season to experiment tactically and try to prepare himself for the Wolrd Cup stage.

without luck, Scotland cannot take points from the Netherlands. The Scottish defence is the weakest part of the team I think, while the Dutch strength is their attacking power. They just run though it.

5 defenders + 2 defensive midfielders that help covering the empty space i guess should do the things to stop dutch strikers. I've tried such tactics(Russia NT) 5-4-1 (with 2 DMs) and is very effective, even in attack if positioned in the empty space of defence

tried that mate against them in the world cup stages. Their attackers are awesome it will be hard to get anything against them

Okay you tried, but this doesn't mean the match has to be considered lost, Ironside has to fight 'til the end.

If you remember how Sevvol was using the defence with Belarus.. thats is a good way to at least lower their shots 'til minimum.

I'm full of optimism and if I win the elections in South Africa I will do everything to finish higher than 3rd place. Today's match with South Africa Honduras shows their potential;)

i am not sure on the quailfing but is it top 2 to go through?

rtg game against holland would of been alot closer if it wasnt for the fact we lost 2 players to red card and one injured after a quick look i think it will be close between the top 3 with all having abilty to take point off each other

Yep only the first 2 teams qualify.

i`m not saying South Africa is weak, but Scotland has a lot of great players and it`s hard for every team to win against them
