i've landed the Spanish Cup winner, Nereafc.

He got a rating of 71+ last round so its definitely no walk in the park, and he's got a World Class winger in the shape of Malev Põlluäär who is in Superdivine form. I will need to keep him shackled if i want to win this game.

Now looking at my team, they were quite frankly pathetic last round. Playing against a side with a rating of 56, i conceded an early goal and had a man sent off. In the end i barely squeeked through.
Also, i lost star striker Egon Adamovic to a 32 day injury meaning he will miss the next 4 rounds of the cup. On the bright side, should i still be still in the cup he is scheduled to return for the Cup Final.

However, returning from injury is my other star striker Henryk Prus. He should be fully fit in time for this match.
As long as i can hold off the injuries i fancy my chances.

how come there are already into round 4 we are only in week 1 of season

round 3 actually... The Champions Cup starts in the last week of last season, just after the promotion/relegation play-off matches

I played around with the tactic after i noticed a weakness in my opponents setup from watching some of his previous matches.

glad i've avoided the 2 Polsh sides for another round.

I'm up against the US Cup winners. They're definitely not going to be a walkover, they just knocked out the top seeds in the previous round, FC Red Card despite FC Red Card having an average rating of 76.2!! And it wasn't even as close as it seems by the score (3:2), they were 3:0 up until they had a man sent off.

you will hump them - have faith :)

I've landed Marko Team, last year's Polish Champions, they are also currently sitting atop the Polish Ekstraklasa Division (their Premier League for those who don't speak Polski).


I'm actually looking forward to the challenge. I think the toughest side is actually FC Chelmek so these guys will be a good stepping stone.

p.s. i'm now the top seed left in the cup... not good news as that position has been somewhat jinxed this cup.
