Subject: [CHAMP] Cup
My Quarter-final match kicks off in an our and a half, if any of you are interested...
Unfortunately i can't watch it live, that means a 2:30am kick-off in Hong Kong, and i have a big exam to sit on Saturday so should really get to bed now.

All the best. Its always good to see a Scottish team doing well in Europe.
Sadly the whole thing went pear shaped rather quickly.
Major anti-climax with the random match generator giving me a good buggering.
Anyone actually watch the match?

i did mate yes. As soon as your forward went off i knew you were doomed. Also read the polish guys comments that he was the best team. His two rapid goals were a major surprise then of course your sending off then injury to the lone forward pretty much ended the match there and then.
The ME screwed you over with two tackles and two reds whereas the other team had 1 red and 5 yellows (i think it was). I was sure their RB had already had a booking when he chopped down buchanan for the 5th time.

Yep, unfortunately the luck of having 1 fit proper striker ran out today. Coupled with the red card bad luck was a real nightmare. They had a guy sent off as well, bad tempered game.
also meant to add. 7 at the back from him effectively playing a 7-0-3 formation was pretty poor as your winger still got free on many occassions.
Well he's had a heap of luck in terms of injuries. The guy literally only has 12 real players in his squad (might be 13 now after buying in those extra defenders to play me).
Its been like that for him the whole cup, i've been watching carefully hoping that he would pick up some injuries and get knocked out.
Striker was really the 1 position i couldn't afford to get an injury (my 3rd striker currently sidelined). Sods law really.
p.s. it should be interesting times in the league now for me with that striker problem.

i'm just thinking of what could have been in that match...
If my coin toss had gone the other way and i'd played the winger down the right, De Veynes would have been covering their winger. He might have had a bit more luck and not got sent off.
Also, as soon as he had tackled the winger, i would be able to release a ball down the wing to my attacking crew, as opposed to having to thump the ball cross field to my lads.
As his defense line was so high the ball spent a lot of time down the right side of my defense a long way from my attack... ah well.

hehh I wrote all and I think You don't have the objectivity completely :) At first I think You should check who on what position played against whom and what changes a rival made in the course of the match ;) It in relation to cards which was concluded in thread.
regard from Poland :)
P.S. it not to You specifically ;)
