Subject: [U21] Competition Time

Stevie has asked me to run a competition for the u21's this season on his behalf in the hope that more people from sokker Scotland (and beyond) can get involved and hopefully cheer the kids on to world cup qualification.

Entering is easy and the competition is open to everyone.

Each week that the U21's have a qualifying match I will post the group fixtures in this thread.

All you have to do is predict the result.

Example

Tūnis U21 0 - 0 Belarus U21

Ísland U21 1 - 9 Scotland U21

Österreich U21 1 - 1 Eesti U21

For each correct result, ie Scotland only win 8-1 then you get 1 point.

If you get the score spot on then you'll receive 3 points.


Simple right?

In the case of a draw at the end of the season we'll have a tie break which will also run as a seperate competition.

If everybody who enters can also give me the total number of goals scored by Scotland U21's in the qualifying campaign only (no friendly matches included) and this will determine the winner in the event of a tie but if anybody can predict the amount of goals scored Exactly then you will have won yourself 1 years plus!

Please predict the total goals in this thread at the same time as your predictions in week 1 only

so before Friday evening then :)

Prizes for the main competition will be 3 months plus to the winner and there will also be the chance to have a player of your choice capped in an end of season friendly so a great chance for some of the lower league teams to have an Internationalist in the ranks :)

Stevie will also allow more capped players for people finishing in 2nd and 3rd place etc but this will depend on numbers playing so the more entries the more prizes and the better your chances of owning an International player!

Oh, yeah, just about the only rule is all entries must be in one minute before the first match kicks off.

One more...Can I just add that should 2 or more people have the same exact winning score then the person who predicted first will deemed the winner so best to check what people have said before you and pick a different total.

As ally mentioned above the more entrants the more players will have the chance to win a cap - To start 1st and 2nd win the right to have a player of their choice (21 or under obviously!) capped in an end of season friendly , if we get 10 entrants them im willing to up it to top 3 places , 15 entrants and i will up it to 4
