Firstly i need to remind (as i was also reminded) that you are not allowed to discuss staff decisions in the forums.

There will be a new election for the Scotland NT job very soon.

All i can say is its a crying shame for Scotland to have lost such a great, old and wise player. The place will not be the same without him.

The decision by the admins to game ban dandy was not taken lightly and im sure that they were correct in their decision as it takes a team of them to be 100% sure when they are banning people, especially long term users.

So no moaning please, I, like you dont know why the decision was made (I have my theories but thats all they are).

Lets keep this thread as a small tribute to a great player and active member of Scotland.

Will there be a caretaker manager for the NT? I think it would be fairest if we put the runner up from the last election in charge.

effectively Greg has to kick start the new election process. I "think" the election will only run until early Sat morning (but dont quote me on that). In effect the new NT manager will only be in the job until the end of the season when the normal elections shall be done.

pity :(

nope, only for 4 weeks :)

greg has replied to say he will not start a new election as it will confuse users. SO brilliantly the EOS competition is now dead. Scotland will play 1 game on Saturday then not play anymore until week 1 of the new season. Our ranking will no doubt slip badly during this period and whoever then takes on the job of NT will face being in POT 3 for the WC qualifiers.

It just gets better & better.

Good enough for the Poles but not for the Scots.

I don't understand that:
Our ranking will no doubt slip badly during this period

Ranking points will not change at all during the time when you didn't play.

But the teams below us have the chance to overtake us now. We are sitting in 34th place so very much borderline of the 2nd and 3rd seeds.
The most likely scenario with no matches is that we will slip down into the 3rd pot.

Quite an unfair decision from greg, especially since Poland were allowed a re-election.

couldnt give a feck about the competition. dandy's away and i'm pissed off. he helped me more than anybody else in the game. Gutted doesnt come close!!!!
