Subject: yet another question...

i can't seem to get my tactics from the tactics screen to the match orders screen! help!

i was fiddling with this for the first time in ages today, and noticed a similar sort of thing.

The match lineup page seems to just display the basic formation that your personalised tactic is based upon (ie 442, 352, etc). hopefully the match engine actually sees the tactic you set. check your lineup in the match report after the game to see if this the case.

The lineup screen normally shows the average position of your tactics so may not quite match the one seen in the tactics editor.

However mine definitely looks different to the 3-5-2 on which was originally modelled.

I suggest you follow suttie's advice and see what happens in the game

no. but after rereading that 4 times it finally started making sense to me.

So, i have to move the ball arround and make sure my players are in the right possition for every possible ball position. how strange and time consuming :(

We go over where people should be for most given situations - it needs to be second nature and helps them to see the game better

In many ways I prefer this game to hattrick because of the amount of control you have over the tactics

actually having given it a go, it isn't too bad :) and as you say, it does allow for more control over how things are done.

but i just wish there was something in the rules about this, so i'd have done it sooner :(

It is quite far down the rules.

mr_gibbage is doing a fine job updating the rules as we speak, so **hopefully** the update will be a little clearer..
