Just one pop this week

2006-09-07 20:22:39
your trainees getting on a bit? maybe time to swap em in for younger high popping lads?
2006-09-08 12:37:09
just sold of most of my older ones and bought in fresh batch of 17 year olds at the start of this season. I am sure it will pick up soon. One plus point is that the lad who did pop this week was my incredible yuth pull from last season and he has been popping fairly reguarly even though he is 20.

Just noticed something,... i know quick eh?

I'm training pace just now and noticed that my reserve keeper actually dropped a level in pace last week from very good to solid despite playing each week that i've been training pace.

Even though he's aged 29 isn't that unusual?
2006-09-17 14:04:00
I've only ever seen pace drop on one player, and he was 29, too. I'm also training pace, btw.
