I would suggest that rather than..


It might even be possible for you to get a mentor for more private help.

we say..

There is a group of experienced users all willing to act as mentors, if you wish to know more just sk-mail Gypsy-King.

(That would include an actual link to my mail)

I'm sure there'd be people in england willing to mentor, too, if you run out of mentors. I would be, at least.

Speaking with a user from Hrvatska and he explained how they got their numbers to rise.

A group of volunteers agreed to be mentors and each monitored a set of leagues. They would send a welcome message and invite the new user to the forums and explain the mentor program. As a result a great number of people joining Sokker Hrvatska stayed around.

I was just looking at Happygolucky next cup game, his opponent got his team on 16th February.. his last log-in is 21st Feb.

Let's put that right guys.

I'm going to monitor Second Division 01 - 04 twice a week for team name changes. Dandy has a rough transcript of a welcome letter, hopefully he can edit post 1 and we can just cut'n'paste that into an sk-mail to the new user. Probably point them to the Forum:Sokker Scotland and have a Mentoring thread bumped at the top all the time. How does that sound?

Yeah that's fine. Anyone can cut'n'paste that and send to new users as soon as they are spotted. Anyone, that includes everyone in div01-04, or in the div2 series, who lurk without posting, if you spot a new user say hallo. :)

Maybe we should agree on a haiku greeting?
