As a Boro fan, I was amazed he was selected, like many others, for the England NT side.

So tedious listening to him talk / make excuses.

Hopefully Capello can inject some confidence into England....

In defence though, he did win us our only ever trophy, and take us to the Carling cup final :)

Scottish mum (from Kirkaldy), English Dad, moved from Aberdeen when I was 8, moved to Saudi Arabia,....as you do, then boarding school in England from 9 to 18.

I'm full Scottish but have only spent about 20% of my life living there. Used to live in Kirkcaldy as a matter of fact. My Mum was from Aberdeen, my Father from Glenlivet, Banffshire. I was born Ayrshire, (Kilmarnock).

Live in Newcastle now and the Boro' are a figure of mirth amongst the Toon supporters.. as is normal in the tribalism of football. Smoggies from Smogland.

Quite amusing, 2 of the soundest guys I work with are from Newcastle and Sunderland. The banter is great. Luckily I don't think we've lost to either of them this season, ...think they've all been draws.....which is prob good for all of us :)
