Subject: Computer Question

Basics apart i'm absolutely useless with pc's so i have a question.

Is there a button on the keyboard that can move all my folders on my desktop?

I ask because every so often they all move, i also have a two year old who likes to copy Daddy whenever dad leaves the pc and starts battering the keyboard, so is he doing it or is it likely to be something else?

If you right click your desktop you will find the first option is to do with arranging icons. There will be a keyboard shortcut for this and as everyone knows children are genius's at doing things like that. My 3 yr old frequently does things with my computer that I have no idea how he did it, in fact never even knew you could. (And I would class myself above average in exp/knowledge, I used to be a repair tech.)

I believe that answers my question, cheers

Second question, how do you child lock the keyboard :)

You super-glue their fingers to the desk just in front of the keyboard, works for me anyway.

Cheaper than the handcuffs option that i was considering :)
Another wee prob.

I couldn't open the link to watch my match tonight so switched browsers and managed fine.

When the new design came along i downloaded a pop up blocker to get rid of that banner at the top and i'm guessing that that is the culprit but i'm not getting any options to "allow this site" etc infact i cant even find it! So question is, how do i find it?, i'm using firefox.
Cheers

Normally if you hold control in and click on a link, the pop up blocker is disabled....that might just work with ie though.

That does open a new window but it's a blank screen with this in the ad bar...

javascript:fullwin(5242264);

I couldn't see my match in the new scripts, I had the match window - just the data didn't load. Switched back to the old site and it worked as normal.

I tried both sites and got no joy, both in firefox, switched to aol on the old site and no probs.

I'm FFx too so it would seem it is a local problem with you then.

Tools: Options: Content: Block Popups (Exceptions)

Don't think that is your problem though, as I have no sites listed as exceptions and it works. It's not considered a pop-up in the normal sense, it's a java window maybe?

@Gypsy
your prob is because you used the new scripts, the latest news posted by forestman says that you can't watch the matches with the new scripts just yet...

Yeah, i found Tools: Options: Content: Block Popups (Exceptions) and just unchecked the box but still cant open the games. I've got both java boxes checked, beats me, think i'll just re-set the pc back to yesterday as i had no problem viewing the NT match although i cant view it now.

Actually, maybe it's not a pop up problem as i downloaded that on Thursday and have viewed matches since.

confused.com
system restore fixed it.

Weird

Bit late, but I think clearing cache/cookies did the trick when that happened to me.
