just went up to shetland isles to visit my wife's relatives for a week... quite nice but not much excitin to do.. thanks!! i'd expect a can of whoopass for myself as i'll expect bad news :P

Shetland is funny place, but a good place to visit. Been to lerwick a few time's and even been to a queen tribute concert in the clickimen leisure centre. (that may be spelt wrong cant remember its name). Would like to see the Up helly aa! festival missed it by a week last time. Plenty of people walking around with viking type beards.

there only brae, lerwick or lerwick leisure centre but it doesn't matter, but there r certain many nice attraction places to see as the vikings and busta house... my wife shitted herself in busta house hehehe.. :P

Just looked it up and its spelt Clickimin Centre Lerwick. nice big centre I think it was on of the first in europe with a rising floor.

I've been in Scalloway couple of times, of course in the evening Lerwick. Do U know that on the way to Lerwick is a vilage called Twat? I wonder how its citizens are calling themselves :P?

'Twatt' is in Orkney, not Shetland.

Yeah Max, Shetland hosted the island games last year. It was a great success, though a very busy time for the islanders!
