I just heard news that Sky have won the rights to show SPL matches until the end of the 2011/2012 season. Meaning Celtic and Rangers among other teams will be on the TV more. : )

I agree with every word as always.

I cancelled Setanta a while back and I will not be going back to Sky either.

Its 100s, 1000s times better actually going to the game than watching on TV. Which is important especially when the game is poor!

why didnt the BBC erm Scotland hahhaha ENGLAND not bid for the rights? They tried to bid for the premiership and of course eventually won the England International games but as always Scotland get over looked

Its a failure of duty. You answered your own question!

Some people just can't watch the game at the grounds so TV coverage is important. Even if it was proper highlights or a re-run of the match x hours after kick off, or even next day or something.

Scotland Internationals should ALWAYS be on Scottish TV. Thats just incredibile sad that can't be guaranteed.

A few sporting events are guaranteed on TV (aka the crown jewels)

Some people just can't watch the game at the grounds.

I definately can't because I live around 500 miles away from Scotland in a pub which is usually busy on Saturdays and Sundays.
