I bought this guy on the 2009-11-14 (3 weeks ago) for 15K
tragic stamina tragic keeper
weak pace poor defender
poor technique weak playmaker
good passing average striker
he double pop'd on pace and tech on his first week. Nothing the 2nd week and now on the 3rd a pop in pace again. When a player pops he is the lowest of that level and rise until he pops again.
tragic stamina tragic keeper
adequate pace poor defender
weak technique weak playmaker
good passing average striker
SO my question is does that differ for a random pop which his first might have been or is he maybe very talented?

talented - you dont get random pops as such in this game. They may appear random but they are actually secondary pops and for youngsters you should be looking for them to "random" pop ~ 10-16 weeks in each skill that your main coach is unearthly in.
Didn't know that about the unearthly thing. Thanks!
neither did i :P
the way i look at it is that if your main coach is unearthly in a skill you are not training (and you have 3 assistants around incredible-magical), i would say that it takes 8 weeks of the secondary training to equal 1 week of proper training.
now, for talented youngsters with lowish skills they might take 2 weeks of regular training to pop a full level. thus, he might do a full random pop in 16 weeks.
