i did an absolute peach today (well it was in my book anyway).
Most of you know that i head up a young footballing academy. I sent out a text 3 minutes after 12 today informing all 35 coaches that we had been approached by manchester united to be there new youth academy in central scotland. the text went like this...
We have been approached by Manchester Utd to become their new Youth Academy for Central Scotland. It would mean massive changes to how we are setup and structured but i am well up for it. I need your opinion urgently before my meeting with the bosses tomorrow to see if you would be happy with this change.
honestly i couldnt stop laughing
here are some of the responses.
"This sounds a fantastic opportunity although i think we need to look at the changes and discuss at a meeting"
"Sounds fantastic send out more details when you receive them"
"Does that mean the academy will get more money?"
"Totally up for it"
"Sounds a great opportunity and your meeting tomorrow will determine if its a good move although Utd dont do much wrong"
LMAO - i havent told them its a joke as yet but slowly they are all twigging - cant wait until the next committee meeting now :)
