Breaking news Rangers have just signed John Wilson as the new kit man at Ibrox,this is so he doesnt need too run as far too get Lennon on his next attempt.

He got away with religous aggrevated assault. so might still get done for bog standard assault...

I will be honest i thought they would have made a huge issue of this guy and gave him a huge sentence in a way of stopping others doing likewise.Thats what should have happened anyway.

eric cantona got done for assault so i dont see why this idiot doesnt get the same. They cannot say it was religiously invoked just because its celtic or rangers - a lawyer would and has had a field day with that charge.

Can this person be re-tried for normal common assault? I'm guessing the fact that the crown decided not to accept his plea of assault with no religious prejudice means that is case over. He'll probably get a few hours community service now for breach of the peace. What a role model for his kids.
