With media handling abilities like this, it's got to be Gordon Strachan.

4-6-0 when attacking mind.

Gordon Strachan
Alex McLeish
Owen Coyle
Stuart McCall

Any of them really, Stuart McCall I reckon has decent experience of polishing turds and making a decent jobby of it.

Strachan is a quote legend but only ever successful manager when he had the best players which not convinced thats what we need.

But would settle for it, far better than harry potter without a wand.

McLeish, Dalglish and Smith in the same boat as Strachan except not quote legends.

You'll get good odds on Stuart McCall, he would be an interesting choice. How about wee Jimmy Calderwood? I'm sure he's getting bored of topping up that tan every day.

Defo don't want McLeish or Smith or Dalglish.

Main reason not to have Dalglish is it could ruin his legendary status as player.

Id love Strachan to get it , just what we need in my opinion

Well maybe, but he hasn't lost his legendary status as a player for Liverpool or Celtic. And he didn't do too well in his last term as boss at Liverpool & he was terrible while at Celtic with John Barnes.
