The Germans, you mean?

Very good result indeed. I was there when we lost 1-0. The place went wild. I stll remember the beeping horns and "Litvua!"

Afterwards we all got very drunk together. Hopefully it was like that again last night.

Couldn't make this one but had a couple of mates in the stand. Will get the inside low down from then later...

I think we have both improved since last time.

you think?????

this bit?
"I think we have both improved since last time. "

Defo, that game was 100 times more entertaining than the last dour performance.

Both teams created plenty of chances.

yes that bit - especially you "think" WE have improved since last time - mate we are a million times better than 3 years ago. Hey - maybe we might bump into each other at the france game - was there at faroes - took me until the 3rd goal to get in - boo.

Got u now min.

I "think" I like to be subtle sometimes. Yep we have improved big time.

I remember my mate got in at half time for a game once.

He'd been talking to a police horse and he wasn't allowed in. They said he was too drunk!? He was able to walk and talk so I would have thought he'd be sober enough. When he did get in he could only say too things. "Where's my jacket" and "its nil nil we've still got a chunce". Even though I kept trying to tell him we were 1-0 down. To be fair that goal was in the first half so didn't witness it.

U canny beat the drunken camaraderie of a Scotland outing.

You've got me started now. I remember that 10 stair tumble I took when the goal went in against Holland in the play off. And not minding a bit when 5 or 6 of my mates decided to jump on top of me for a laugh. I was there for the 6-0 drubbing in the return leg. Several of there fans were actually apologising to us afterwards. I was quite happy we kept it to 6 as it could have been even worse!

We usually head to Pandoras before the game.

I don't know how to spell the bar's name as when we travel from Aberdeen, we start drinking at 7. I thought we were hardcore drinkers until I saw an Icelandic guy down my full whisky hipper in 1. Thats just madness.

Not sure whats more worrying - your friend talking to a horse, or the fact that it talked to your friend. :)

lol - drinking at 7 - crazy fool. I usually start at 12:30 and am totally wellied by the time i get onto the bus and crack open the carry out. The one time things were different we went to the renfrew ferry at 10am - never again. Could hardly walk, nearly got jailed for being too drunk, couldnt work out my way to the North stand, eventually got in somehow, fell asleep. Not good!!

There was one game I had to sit down for the last ten minutes cuz the players kept spinning around and I got confused which way were swaying...

Just like in this game its all to do with stamina. We usually get denied a cary-oot on the bus so we pack pocket rockets instead.
