Whats the thoughts then now that Walter has intentionally injured quasie to ensure his little Barry backwards walks straight back into the team despite :
A) not lossing a game with him NOT in the team.
B) him being nowhere near match fit
C) him stifling any swift attack moves by stopping and passing it either backwards or sideways.
Honestly i am totally gutted about this as the Scottish attacking football is a gem to watch without him in the team. Yes he has his uses but only when we are winning 3-0 to come on and stifle out the game. I fear for us on Saturday now.

You've got France though haven't you?
So, Ferguson playing might be a good thing, try and get a draw

Do you really, really think that Smith has 'intentionally injured' Quashie?
Really?
Point A: Who do you think should replace Quashie? Who has got the required experience at this level?
Point B: He's had 6 games in a row, so he'll be close to match fit. Again, Point A has also to be considered in this.
Point C: Do people want him to lose possession, or keep it?
The sheer ignorance of many astounds me. Why do you think he doesn't play the ball forward all the time?
I'll tell you - it's because the people in front of him don't get into the correct positions to receive the ball safely.
But then, everyone would seem to be happy at wasting possession as long as the ball goes forward...
This is 21st century International football, not 1960s Pub League...

Get real Kev the man is a fool - the reason WHY he doesnt pass the ball forward is that his brain takes FAR too long to tell his foot to pass it - by the time the electrons charge the brain cell in his head its too late.
honestly i like Barry but i dont see why the shit should just walk into the team. Who would i see filling the role? The same bleeding person who done it the last games (Hartley). Who would i use instead of Quasie - easy McFadden.

I don't rate Ferguson, seems another average scottish footballer, but i would still play him against France
Maybe a 4141, with him as the 1 between midfield and defence

you missed out "unfit" by his OWN admission.

That's just laughable. No really, laughable.

You ike him, but then call him a 'shit'? Doesn't make sense.
And if you use McFadden in midfield, who would play in McFadden's position up front?
Or would you expect him to play 2 positions...?

Kev some on since when did Mcfadden play up front for Scotland?
I think the last game he played just off the front, as a second striker.
I think yo uwill find walter plays him as a kiddon striker. This 3-5-2 formation that he plays which is actually always a 5-4-1. Boyd up front alone with Mcfadden just in front of the midfield (not just behind boyd)
And it's likely to be something similar against France, I would expect.
But again, it doesn't detract from the fact that Barry Ferguson is the best player to fit into that midfield instead of Quashie.

nah need to disagree with you there. However I hope i am eating my own words come 8pm Saturday night (instead of eating my chinese curry - AGAIN)
