Effervescent, breath-taking, dazzling, extraordinary and downright mind-boggling.

I look back over all the games I've seen on TV, and remember. I remember 3-2 vs Holland in '78, I remember all the wins at Wembley in the '70s, I remember beating Germany, drawing with Brazil, winning against Spain at Hampden and Wales at Anfield.

But nothing, and I mean NOTHING compares to this.

It is quite simply unbelievable.

Fantastic, not being overly bias but i thought McManus and Scott brown especially were absolute superstars!!!

God you must be getting on? Engerland 70's, Holland 78, did you watch it on video or what? i was 3 and a half.

Superb win tonight, would be great to see us in the Euro championships, pity Italy got that second goal tonight or it could of been sooner rather than later

Gallass

PS is that how you spell Gallis/gallass?

It was the draw v Brazil that gave it away

The rest of your post i remember well and agree with.
C'mon the Scots!

I was born 1960, living in Kirkcaldy in 1966 I caught World Cup Fever.. for England..

International football these days hardly means a thing to me though, I watch some of the world cup games but usually only the ones where you might see some fast flowing attacking football. That's usually provided by the so-called 'emerging' nations.
2007-09-13 11:36:28
Attacking football? Like Holland Portugal in the last world cup? That was pretty offensive stuff.
