thiago motta è uno dei giocatori più odiosi che io abbia mai visto ma secondo me è fortissimo, soprattutto messo lì sul centro sinistra, ha tempi di inserimento pazzeschi, strapotere fisico e buon palleggio, e tatticamente è un mostro

IMHO nocerino senza ibra farebbe molto molto molto meno :)

imho il centraocampo de rossi, pirlo e t.motta è male assortito.
per esaltare le doti di pirlo ci vogliono compagni che corrano e si inseriscano, come marchisio e vidal, mentre motta e, in parte, anche de rossi sono giocatori più di posizione.

Avevo pensato ad un 3-5-2 ma poi non sapevo chi mettere a sinistra XD

all'inizio lo odiavo, ma negli schemi dell'Inter era fondamentale!

beh quest'anno è stato così, ma con il milan c'erano di fianco seedorf e ringhio, de rossi è un ringhio con piedi migliori :P

cmq io non trascurerei anche un'idea data da pupe, cioè mettere pirlo dietro le punte, a quel punto davanti alla difesa de rossi e dentro uno tra marchisio e nocerino

vero, è anche vero che in quella formazione le stagioni migliori pirlo le ha fatte con esterni di difesa che garantivano grandi inserimenti, un kaka che svariava a tutto campo e un inzaghi che è sempre stato tra i migliori al mondo a dettare il passaggio in profondità.
insomma pirlo è fortissimo ma diventa ancora più decisivo se gli dai la possibilità di servire gli uomini sulla corsa con inserimenti che solo lui è in grado di vedere e sfruttare.

La Snai da l'Italia vincente all'Europeo addirittura dietro all'Inghilterra... a 12.0...

Interesting call-up by Prandelli.

1. What do you think about leaving De Ceglie out of the 32? I'm not saying that he should be considered as 1st team player, but not in the top32? He deserves to be at least a bench player. I don't know how Criscito is doing in Russia, any info?

2. I like to see Destro and Borini, really good players, but the attack looks a bit weak. Pazzini, Matri and Quaglia might not be in form, but still I think that one of them should go to WC...

3. Is Diamanti considered to play on the position of Cassano/Montolivo, behind the strikers? I think that he could do great if he gets a chance to prove his skills. Or maybe Giovinco will be the one to play on that position - though I doubt that?

4. What do you think about Verratti - I think that Prandelli just wants to check him before the WC qualifications, he is not really considered as substitute for Pirlo...or is he?

Verratti l'ha convocato per far alzare il prezzo, in realtà spera che il suo prossimo presidente Moratti lo soffi alla Juve, allora vuole mettere i bastoni fra le ruote alla trattativa bianconera... ^_^

chissà... io le partite senza ibra me le guardai attentamente, giocò molto bene. Imho è semplicemente un giocatore maturo, fortunato il milan ad averlo pescato con tempismo perfetto... ci vorrebbero altre 2 intuizioni così e la prossima stagione saremmo a cavallo

1) imho criscito is better than de ceglie, criscito is the best italian in his role

2) pazzini and quaglia didn't play this season and matri in the last two month didn't play a lot, so it was difficoult for prandelli to consider in the top 30 players who does not play...
destro and borini are young and good, but one of this two will not be considered in the real convocation (24 players?)

3) yes, he is

4) verratti is the heir of pirlo, really, really good, 1992 player of pescara (1st in the italian serie B)

1. De Ceglie's chances would have been much higher if Italy NT played 3-5-2 just like juventus. fact is that Italy normally plays a 4-men-line defense and in that defensive wingback position Criscito is far better than De Ceglie in tackles, positioning and marking. probably even Balzaretti is better than De Ceglie in that role.

2. I agree. I think Prandelli has chosen to rely on Balotelli as the first heavy striker, with a faster and creative man aside like Cassano, Giovinco or Di Natale. the fact is that we have no real heavy striker backup, and everything will depend on Balotelli's head - which is not properly his strong point :D
if I was Italy's opponent I'd try to continuously provoke Balotelli to cause him to react and be sent off. I think the old foxes from the other countries have built their tactics yet.

3. his position is three-quarter, the offensive midfielder which is the high corner of the diamond midfield. so he's a natural alternative for Montolivo. I think he could do much better than Montolivo, and so do think many others here in the forum. but I fear that in the end he will be left home.

4. Verratti is a 19 years old crystal-pure talent.
I agree, he will be left home in the end, but this first experience is just the building-up of a very long NT career for him. he started as an offensive midfielder, but gradually shifted to Pirlo's role of playmaker.
his strong points are long-range vision, long-range passing, masterclass technical skill and ball control. his weaknesses are tackling (but he compensates a lot with great sense of positioning) and the fact he's short, just 165 cm if I'm not wrong.
it seems that Juve wants him badly, as an obvious backup for Pirlo. probably growing up with Pirlo is the best for him too. he strongly supports Juventus since he was a kid, so the business has great chances to be made in the end.
he has definetly the skill to become a world top player. let's hope he has Del Piero's head, too. :D

ma pensate a quei giocatori che manco hanno giocato la champions (va ben, qualcuno ha giocato qualche partita quest'anno)............ se fanno un Europeo..................
