Hello to everyone,

When a leader looses his vision, hi looses motivation, dedication, and a long-term plan! Its clear that the development of Sokker has stopped, and that our community of users are not the focus anymore for the owners.

Our goal is to check the volume of interest first, it will take you 1 minute to sign up to the interest list. With a bigger support, we will be able to gather an amazing & dedicated team, to develop a first "Alpha" version of a game inspired by this old version of Sokker.

Its time for something new, and if you are tired of this situation, finally we give the option to do something about it! Otherwise, don't wine and be happy as it is =)

Im a co-owner of a design studio based in Sweden working as product developer & designer. I run the studio with my colleague, he is an animator and looking forward to this project. Our core focus is to "Simplify ideas and concept by design and animated graphic movies". We have helped many entrepreneurs to realise their ideas & visions whether it has been a physical or digital product.
So we have some great plans for this game! (Smallest example: Tutorials or help section should be in animated videos, not a long bunch of text), and much more.

I love this game, and back in 2008 i won the Sokker design contest with 10 years PLUS (that is still there) with my design concept. That design was never implemented by the dev team.

I know that we have a great group of coders in here, just check the thread:
"[New Game] How many coders are here?", i tried last year to start a development of a game, and searched the forums for coders. (See examples below).

Here is example of the last concept, this one is already outdated, we are sketching on a even better version of a first game. I showcase this to you, so you can see a little of my dedication over the past years! And now, i want to develop a game with the community in the centre.

E' una cosa sera tranquillo, avevo fatto parte anch'io a suo tempo del gruppo di programmatori scovati in sokker, poi però il progetto richiedeva fin troppo tempo (ovviamente) e purtroppo non si è più stati in grado di seguirlo adeguatamente :)

Per darne maggiore visibilità, non sarebbe il caso di tradurre in italiano il post?!

Mi sembra che abbia lanciato l'iniziativa per capire in quanti sono favorevoli, far partire una startup e poi provare a fare un CrowdFunding, dato che il progetto "di volontariatato" è fallito subito

Penso che sia un po' come tentare di fondare una colonia su Marte, prevedendo che la nostra cara Terra abbia i giorni contati.

I have a question:
the different thing of sokker from the other games is the live sistem (and the interaction between tattics drawing and live sistem).
does your new game have the same live sistem (so you buy project from Greg and update it) or you start from the beginning?
and in this second case, can you improve a live sistem like sokker?

Nice project dude, but I guess how would you convince people to move from here to another place if 99% of users keep on watching matches in 2d and 99% of the 99% are still beloved with the old theme instead of the new one...
We're a lazy community, with very little willing for new learnings :P

P.S And I don't quite like the way you set the matter, this is not sokker revolution, this is your business and you're looking for helpers...There's nothing bad I precise, yet nothing different by ultimate manager or....hattrick :)

Beh non credo che gli ideatori di hattrick facciano la fame :)

Non sono certo ma penso che Hattrick sia stato già venduto e comprato un paio di volte, lo svedese iniziale non penso faccia più parte del progetto,ma potrei sbagliare... :-)

E' comunque Hattrick e passato da 1kk utenti a meno di 300k uteni in 10 anni, più o meno come qui...

The game is inspired by sokker, made better suited for 2016 and different platforms. I guess a mix of a game that i have in my head through this years. But i fell in love with sokker for the same reasons as you, the tactic editor. So i will focus on that aswell.

Believe me, its a revolution.

people demonstrate also against governments, but when nothing happens, then changes have to be made, and only a movement can change things. i count your support!

I have been one of the people trying to push developers to continue develop this game for years, also contacted greg personally many times, even offering to buy the game. But no answer..

So the idea was to start a revolution so the devs start to do something to save sokker. But since i lost my faith during this years now, I'm making this game in some kind of protest i guess. I have been working with graphic design, i love football and tech. so why not? In sweden we are a small community, I've written there many times about what if they pull the plug out?

So you can see it as you want, either outcome is good, i still hope this wakes the devs up. If they succeed then thats awesome, if not, we together need plan B right?
