We'll use the best players and I also selected the guys who have 2 yellow cards, I now hope they will take the 3rd one, to be suspended for next game and be fit for the first world cup game :) There are 6 or 7 players with 2 red cards...

At least my players know when to score :)

1-0 for them, but it's a bit unfair, in my opinion.

I wanted to see how this tactic works on the new engine. The winger escaped a couple of times, once he had all the field free in front of him and he passed back. We hit the bar, another header striker vs keeper, our striker hit the ball but the keeper, somehow, while he was jumping, deflected it.

It was a good test.

I am really a bit worried...

I think you need to change the low defenders tactic, the new ME is not good for low defenders because you have problems if the ball comes back from the midfield.

We have another def setup as a backup, but I wanted to see how the low one works with this engine. Mostly the wing-backs receive the ball, so if they have a bit of passing and pm, they can continue the passes.

Also against this kind of opponents you need to make the game yourself, with the low defenders and midfield you let the game to the opponent and you have totally now pressure.
So the wingbacks don't have to receive the ball if you have more pressure...
Keep the weaker opponent from your own goal away.

We have such a strong team against this kind of opponents, show them instead of walking back!

Pretty even match, Scotland had better chances (headers vs shots in penalty area) I think. Besides, this tactic is predictable ... and I agree with Poey: if you have over 7 rating more, you should dominate the game with mids and not use a low defense. Made same mistake against Hellas last season in the first leg. Second leg I played aggressive defenders and we dominated them.

We did deserve to win, but 6-0 is to much.

Congratulations with a nice win. I'm very glad we made it through.

The game was a bit weird. Slovensko got a number of great chances, even a header with the GK completely out of position, but simply couldn't score. Our strikers seemed to have the devil's own luck in the first half. The combination with the post was perhaps the most bizarre goal I have seen in a long time. Once again the high def line did the trick nicely, but the midfield was a horror to behold. Three instead of two was of course an improvement, but you need to vary in height as well in order to avoid awkward passes to defenders. Half of Slovensko's chances were the result of clumsy passes and even worse positioning. Slovensko's NTC might jump from the nearest bridge in pure frustration, I fear. First France, now the Netherlands.
