we have one on one situations, heads and...nothing..... they scored by head 3 goals.. fuck it.. we weren't worse in this game;/

there were a bad point of tactic but in my opinion we stop them well. 9 shots by Poland is good result, but 3 head goals, when we couldn't do anything :|

I agree, you were unlucky in this match.

The strikers missed some great oportunities and the Polish strikers didn´t. Could have gone either way.

I've seen a nice game, i hope you will continue game's like this. And yes you where unlucky.

Could be better.. i'm not happy about mids game... heh unlucky again.. i forget to tell you that mostly i'm unlucky xD

Is that true? We had a couple in midgets in central defense (polish strikers weren't any taller though).

Does anyone know if there has been any research (thus beyond gut feeling) about the advantages (headers) and the disadvantages (decreased acceleration) of height for CD's?

Our best defenders played today.. superdivine with high forms... we don't have many superdivine defenders, it's our weak side ;/

I understand that dutch resources are limited, but would it have helped playing with eg 2 1,85m+ divine central defenders in this game? That is what I am curious about.

Unless it changed since implementation ... I did a research a couple of weeks after height was introduced in the ME. It didn't make any sense, as usual the less tall guy won the headers. I even remember a couple of seasons ago when I coached Belgium, one of the Uzbekistan defenders was 1.65 and won all headers against our 1.85 striker.

heads are random in my opinion

I wonder if your stadium is really used. If you click on the stadium name in the match report, you will see a different stadium than yours. But then again, it has your stadium name.

I know for sure it is used because the pitch condition was down from 89% tot 60% ;)

Not really a problem indeed, but the stadium will not be 100% now in next home match.
Last seasons i did suffer from injuries a lot, so i want to avoid that as much as possible.
