Vanaf heden veel 20-jarigen in de basis ( ook 19 jaar), zelfs als de tegenstander niet aangeeft dat hij ook 20-jarigen opstelt.
De toekomst is nu het belangrijkste, de lange termijn gedachte is in mijn ogen hetgeen waar het in Sokker om draait.
Ik wil U21 graag weer in de top 10/20 terugbrengen.

Not to make a big discussion or anything, ending up there anyways possible. But how is top 10/20 possible, if not being able to qualify for WC???? (24 teams)
And even at the same time, playing younger players then opponents (which cost on the results)

First you have to build on a team before reaching higher goals, that is where Sokker is all about in my opinion.
Without playing with U20 you will not have a better team in the future.
Sokker is a long term game, not a short term game.
I am prepared to do this for at least 4 seasons.
Without this, i played with very good tactics this season in my opinion, the main reason we almost reached the goal this season already.
Winnning against the 2nd or 3rd of the world is not that easy if you are the 30th of the world.
Still i did, so that is a way to reach top 10/20.

Yes on club basis, you have to build on a team before reaching higher goals...... cause club basis is very long term, we are talking 10-20-30-40 seasons, every penny you use or earn, is forever, and all credits to the many dutch teams having very fine age averages yet making 70+ ratings, and having a lot on the balance sheet still. But the u/21 nt doenst pay money in transfers, you dont get bonus for planning 5-10 seasons ahead. We are talking maximum 3-4 seasons ahead, and all along the road, you have to watch the ranking, cause ranking is much much more important in NT then Club (which is also probably the reason you talk about top 10/20) So you can not entirely compare the life of U/21 NT and how Sokker in general is all about.
The reason people play U/19-u/20 is for planning the next WC or WC qualifications, and of course this should be done. To have the strongest possible squad for the important matches. To do it for 4 seasons, makes no sense. Already after the next season there is a new important season, and the team should be build for that. If you talk only about in the friendlies, i get your point, but again, even friendlies have huge impact on ranking :)
So if you play against teams not doing this, not agreeing on this forehand, you end up losing ranking points. So therefore i couldnt see why you talked about top 10/20 in same message/goal as saying you wanted to play whether opponent did or not.
And losing/gaining ranking points, is imo, equally important to developing the squad for the important matches, as it will give easier opponents.
My 2 cents is just, you should not take any friendly agreement that is not willing to make equal age terms, which is also easy if you just take the time around the election to make them. Because otherwsie top 10/20 will get further and further away.
And now that you mention results, yes getting draw and victory again Hungary was a big success, and i agree that is was not a bad season, since some of the results agains you and the team was a bit unlucky. But the team you had a hand, is not a top 30 team, it is a top 20 team. So hopefully, for the dutch community you will be able to bring them up there.

I am only telling Sokker is a long term game and yes U21 is different from your own team.
You are right about the other things ( as friendly's and ranking etc.), i think about it that way too :)
